We worked with Altoids for the 2001 holiday season to create a campaign to drive online sales of it's Big Tin. Altoids had a rich visual and iconic campaign in print, but the client wanted to create something different and unique to the interactive medium. We utilized a quirky elf character, which interacted with the tin in a series of mini films.

The flash movies were created especially for iFilm and Atom films sites and included an email to a friend feature to further spread the campaign. The simple style of the ads and the odd elf character were a hit with web viewers and helped add another dimension to the curiously strong mints popularity.
Results:
The campaign exceeded the goals for downloads and emails and was responsible for increasing sales of the tin on the site by over 50%.
